As Executive Director at Waystone, Matteo ensures the smooth running of day-to-day operations for all Swiss Fund Services in coordination with the Managing Director. Matteo’s responsibilities include coordinating the onboarding of clients, leading the development of the IT infrastructure and managing service providers for Waystone’s Swiss operation.
A strong communicator with a keen focus on client needs, Matteo was previously with Oligo Swiss Fund Services, having joined them in 2015 and he became Oligo’s COO in 2017. Before joining Oligo, Matteo spent several years as a software team leader and project manager, leading project-funding campaigns and developing and managing various commercial and research projects, Matteo turned to the financial sector within a Fintech company for fund management.
Matteo has a PhD in Computer Science from University of Geneva (UNIGE) and has been recognised with a University diploma in Computer Science for his research work at CERN.
