Nicole Ramroop is a Director at Waystone and is based in the Cayman Islands with a practice that includes a wide range of sophisticated private investment funds. Nicole has over ten years of experience in regulatory and compliance oversight across a wide range of fund structures including, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital and bespoke structures with specialisms that include the design, implementation and management of internal controls and operating procedures. In addition, Nicole has extensive experience in performing all areas of hedge fund audits.
Nicole has been involved in assisting numerous US and European-based open-end and closed-end funds across various investment strategies, including fund-of-one arrangements for prominent US and international investors.
Nicole also has significant experience guiding stakeholders through various extraordinary events including, complex litigation, financial restructuring and dispute resolution matters.

- Serving specialist investment managers that provide an alternative investment platform across private equity, fund of hedge funds and single manager hedge fund investments with AUM of over £7Bn.
- Serving venture capital funds investing primarily in disruptive technology in the internet, mobile, telecommunications, software and e-commerce sectors.
- Serving master-feeder hedge fund structures investing in debt-related instruments and derivatives, including government and corporate loans and bonds, asset-backed loans and mortgaged-backed loans and bonds, sponsored by a leading, specialist investment manager.
- Serving fund-of-fund structures investing in a diversified portfolio of trading-oriented hedge funds whose strategies include equity securities, fixed income securities, foreign exchange, commodities and distressed securities in developed and emerging markets.
- Serving hedge funds with real estate, fixed income arbitrage strategies, investing in conservative, interest bearing or dividend driven securities.
- Serving investment management companies investing primarily in Asia-related equity securities, foreign exchange products, bonds and other interest rate and credit instruments, and commodities contracts in global markets.
