Eric Bertrand

With experience dating back to 1991 as an auditor and in the financial services sector, Eric specialises in opening and establishing new office locations, driving organic growth, and implementing operational improvements.

As Chief Operating Officer, Waystone Administration Solutions, Eric’s responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of fund administration to ensure the company’s long-term strategic goals are aligned with its operational outputs. Eric plays a pivotal role in the establishment of new offices and ensuring the seamless integration of new service centres into the group, guaranteeing that transitions are smooth and in line with Waystone’s business objectives.

Eric has held leadership positions in Canada, Bermuda and Ireland where he has built a considerable track record in financial services. He was a co-founder of the Centaur group of companies, where he served as part of the executive management team from 2009 until its acquisition by Waystone in 2023.

Previously, Eric held a significant tenure at Citi Hedge Fund Services Ltd in Bermuda, serving as a Director and taking the role of Managing Director between 2005 and 2009. His extensive experience has centred on achieving operational excellence and contributing to the strategic growth of organisations.

Eric is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA) and is actively involved in industry groups, keeping up to date with best practices in financial services and operational management.
