Director, Fund Accounting: Private Equity/Insurance-Linked Securities
A Certified Public Accountant and an Associate in Reinsurance, Irineo (IC) brings two decades of audit and fund administration expertise to Waystone. His primary role at Waystone involves overseeing the fund accounting operations and driving best practices.
Before his current position at Waystone, IC spent over six years at Centaur until its acquisition by Waystone in 2023. Initially serving as Director, Head of ILS (Insurance-Linked Securities) based in Bermuda, IC moved to the United States in 2023 and now works as Director, Fund Accounting: Private Equity/Insurance-Linked Securities in the New Jersey office.
Previously, IC was associated with SS&C Fund Services (Bermuda) Ltd., where he was Senior Account Manager for ILS Operations & Business Development. He began his tenure in this space with Prime Management Limited as an Account Manager. IC has also held significant positions at PwC Bermuda, PwC Antigua and Barbuda, and E&Y Philippines.
IC completed his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines.
