Neil MacGuinness

Neil has extensive experience in fund administration, having been actively involved in the field since 2002. As the Head of Investor Services, Bermuda, Neil is responsible for overseeing operations across Hedge Funds, PERE, and ILS Funds. His background not only highlights his operational expertise but also his innovative approaches in systems design and implementation.

Prior to Waystone, Neil was the Head of Investor Services for Centaur Bermuda until its acquisition by Waystone in 2023. In this role, he led initiatives that transformed the firm’s operational framework. Under his direction, Centaur Bermuda has developed bespoke workflow solutions to track client specific requests, rolled out a web reporting platform for fund managers and investors to enhance accessibility and transparency, in addition to numerous system enhancements to meet client specific, operational and regulatory requirements.

Before joining Centaur, Neil held key positions at several prestigious institutions. At Horseshoe Fund Services, he took on the mantle of Senior Vice President of Investor Services. Prior to this, he worked at Citi Hedge Fund Services, handling responsibilities as the AVP – Investor Services. His early days in the sector saw him at State Street International (Ireland) as a Senior Client Services Administrator and then moving to BISYS Hedge Fund Services Ltd as an Account Manager in Investor Services.
