Paul joined Waystone in 2023 and works with the Global Business Development Team to support the business development activities of Waystone in the APAC region, driving new business leads for the company, and maintaining, cultivating, and enhancing client relationships. Paul has a specific focus on generating business leads for the Waystone Hong Kong office.
Paul joined Waystone from Citics CLSA, where he primarily assisted the China onshore asset management companies to develop the business overseas and provided custodian and fund administration services to the managers who are planning to set up offshore funds in locations such as the Cayman Islands, BVI, Hong Kong and Singapore. Paul’s role at Citics was Senior Vice President and Head of Sales for CLSA Fund Services in both Mainland and Hong Kong. Paul has extensive experience in funds formation, complex fund structures setup in multiple jurisdictions for both onshore and offshore funds.
Paul holds both Master’s degree in Business and IT and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Economics from Aston University, Birmingham, UK and is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
