Brendan Johnson is the Designated Person for Fund Risk Management at the Company, and is responsible for the day to day oversight of all funds under management. Brendan was formerly Head of Investment Risk at KB Associates which was acquired by Waystone in 2022. He has significant experience on performing risk analysis on credit funds under both UCITS and AIFMD.
Prior to joining KB Associates in 2014, Brendan held roles in BNY Mellon and Citi specialising in the pricing of hard to value securities.
Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Mathematics and Computing from Dublin Institute of Technology and a Master of Science Degree in Financial and Industrial Mathematics from Dublin City University. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) by the Global Association of Risk Professionals and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
