Eamon Lyons

Eamon joined Waystone in 2021 and is a Director based in the Dublin office. Eamon has significant experience assisting clients with establishing various fund types, ranging from broadly-offered retail funds to private funds aimed at small groups of sophisticated investors and family offices across every major asset class, liquid and illiquid, with a particular focus on private debt and digital assets.

At Waystone, Eamon works closely with the Client Services Team to develop strategies for establishing partnerships and business relationships to market product offerings to investment managers and fund promoters.

Eamon joined Waystone from Simmons & Simmons where he worked as a Senior Associate within the Investment Funds and Asset Management team in Dublin & London. Eamon advised asset managers and fund promoters on the structuring and establishing of Irish domiciled funds, including UCITS and AIFs. He also advised service providers within the investment funds sector on establishing operations in Ireland and concerning their ongoing businesses. Clients in this area include AIFMs, UCITS management companies, MiFID firms, fund administrators and depositaries.

Eamon is a qualified solicitor in England, Wales and Ireland.
