Michael works on the Business Development team based in Ireland, where he establishes and maintains partnerships and business relationships within the growing Structured Finance client base. Waystone provides investment governance and bespoke solutions to a wide variety of SPVs across all asset classes. Working with originators, banks, hedge funds, managers, private equity firms, family offices, high net worth individuals and boutique financial institutions, Waystone supports a wide range of structures and transactions. Michael also serves as an independent director on a number of Aircraft owning entities, Section 110 vehicles and trading companies.
As part of the Structured Finance team, Michael works with clients to offer a wide range of services, complemented by a comprehensive range of specialist services such as; corporate administration, fund governance, FATCA, CRS, trust, corporate, family office and outsourcing solutions.
A former professional rugby player who represented Munster Rugby, Gloucester Rugby, the Irish Wolfhounds and Ireland during a career spanning 10 years, Michael has proven leadership, team building and communications skills.
Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies and a Professional Diploma in Aircraft Leasing and Finance from the University of Limerick.
