Based in the United States, Samantha Soohoo is an experienced professional, serving as the Director of Fund Accounting at Waystone. Bringing her 16 year expertise in alternatives, particularly in servicing Hedge Fund clients, Samantha’s responsibilities encompass overseeing fund accounting operations to ensure precision, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Prior to her current role at Waystone, Samantha was a key figure at Centaur, beginning as a Senior Fund Accounting Manager in May 2018 and later ascending to Director – Fund Accounting by January 2022, until its acquisition by Waystone in 2023.
Prior to her association with Centaur, Samantha made a notable impact at SS&C Technologies. As Vice President, Samantha managed a robust business unit that provided comprehensive middle and back-office services for SS&C’s prominent institutional client, overseeing more than 100 CLOs, SMAs, and hedge funds, which represented $50bn in Assets Under Administration.
Samantha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Lehigh University.
