Waystone announces two key executive appointments
Key facts:
- Waystone appoints new CFO and CITSO
- Liliana Solomon appointed as Chief Financial Officer
- Ian Lilleby appointed as Chief Information, Technology and Security Officer
- both appointments are at Group level.
Liliana will succeed interim CFO, John Leonard, who will continue in his role as Deputy Group CFO.
Liliana Solomon brings over 25 years of demonstrated financial leadership and business transformation experience across a range of industries including telecommunications and hospitality. Her track record in delivering strong financial management and business results will support Waystone through its next phase of growth.
Throughout her career, Liliana has delivered impressive financial results and driven sustainable growth in transformational leadership roles. She has demonstrated extensive knowledge of business performance management and financial strategy, successfully executing transformational change and overseeing major acquisitions, whilst adapting to changing market conditions.
Liliana has served as CFO and in executive leadership positions at several large, international and fast growing private and public companies. Prior to joining Waystone, she was CFO at Awaze Group and earlier held leading roles at Vodafone Group, T Mobile UK and Deutsche Telekom.
Ian Lilleby, new Waystone CITSO, is an accomplished business leader with a proven track record of delivering innovative tech capabilities whilst keeping a strong focus on data security. Ian brings over 25 years’ experience driving digital transformation, business optimisation and cybersecurity across a range of sectors including fintech and energy.
Ian is adept at managing complex, regulated environments for companies, scale-ups and FTSE 250 organisations. Ian’s expertise across AI, data, cloud and a wide range of enterprise technologies has been gained across EMEA, the US and Asia-Pacific.
Ian is responsible for leading technology and information security across all areas of Waystone and will play a key role supporting business growth and driving innovation.
Liliana and Ian’s appointments follow the onboarding of new Waystone Group CEO, Sanjiv Sawhney, who joined the company in December from Citi.
